Time:7:14 am.
Current financial crisis triggered the world to seek a new paradigm such as inter/intra-regionalization, in which international or inter-regional standardization is recognized as one of the key factors to drive and to boost the real economy in the new paradigm. Explain why the standardization is important, and describe how to create and expand collaborative relations and activities, especially in the East Asia and in the Pan-Pacific regions.

I hate it when people write the argument that I'm supposed to make for me.
I absolutely despise it when they write the argument by flouting contextually meaningless or vague keywords in an attempt to mask their poor English with mock-academic tone.

Bah humbug.

P.S.

- Both rehearsal for concert and class tomorrow (Saturday)
- Both a gospel concert and my Master's interview on Sunday
- Presentation for seminar and (above) report due on Wednesday

After that I still have classes, shopping, and travel arrangements (essentially making sure that I won't be evicted while I'm gone) to do. And about four days to do it in.

- Plane leaves in about 10 days

By the way, for people who're naughty and download Japanese TV (trying not to point too many fingers back at myself here), I'll be an extra in an episode of a program coming up in January. Let me know and I'll give you the details.

Second exciting news is that I get to spend even more money because I passed an audition to be tacked on to the lineup of a show held with artists from the agency I'm involved with. Unfortunately the people who read this won't be able to come, but I thought I'd let y'all know so you can be excited or whatever it is that you do. :]

To confirm (or deny) any rumors that may be circling around, yes, I will be in Arizona for Christmas/New Year's. My tentative itinerary has me landing in Phoenix on the 15th of December and leaving, also from Phoenix on the 8th of January. That means I have approximately 3 weeks stateside.

Naturally, I want to get together with as many of you as possible while I'm there, so if you're going to be in Arizona this holiday season, let me know so we can party. Or watch a movie. Or grab Chipotle/Pizza/Burgers/etc.

...Comments would be nice, so I can look forward to who'll be around/lament those who'll be out of town.

PS, Jody, if you read this pls let me know what your mother's plans are as well as I'd like to see her too, if possible (and I know she doesn't read this).

That's all for now. kthxbai.

Subject:Stephen: the Bimonthly Report
Time:12:31 am.
Well now. It has been a while since I last post, hasn't it? I hope you all have had a wonderful summer break over there, and I'm thrilled to finally announce that mine's just starting. My last paper was due a week ago yesterday (Saturday, that is), and my last class was held this past Wednesday. Well, seminar, actually, but who wants to get technical. Anyway, the point is it's summer break.

Summer in the city means cleavage, cleavage, cleavage... )

So that's about it! I'm still sitting idly by for snail-mail correspondence from all of you. Though I suppose it's a good thing I haven't gotten much, 'cause then I'd be obligated to write back. At any rate, I do enjoy hearing from that side of the ocean so keep me updated. I'll try to... remember to do the same. ;D

Subject:For those who would worry:
Time:12:17 am.
You can rest assured that although I would be the type of person to go there, I was not even close to Akihabara today (actually yesterday, now), where the stabbings, etc. took place. Interestingly, I've been in a guarded computer lab for a large part of the day. (In fact, the entire building I'm in is guarded so that only students can get in on Sundays.)

And yes, I am enjoying my (albeit spoonless) box. I'll leave the Matrix reference out there for whoever feels they need to sink to those levels.

...It's going to be a loooong night.

Subject:Quick post to let y'all know that I haven't forgotten about you
Time:2:09 pm.
First of all, I think I should properly thank everyone who's sent money, or even just words of encouragement for me in my... interesting situation here. Both friends/family stateside and Japanside have been really supportive, and I think I'll be able to make it by until my scholarship starts depositing in May. And then I'll be able to pay you all back. :D Ironically, I'm listening to the Across the Universe sountrack right now, and the song playing right now is "With a Little Help from my Friends." ...And now it's "It Won't Be Long." Maybe I really should get that haircut I was thinking about...?

In other news! Hot Water! It's better than hot chocolate! Okay, maybe not, but I did a jig as soon as the gas man left my apartnemt. And if I could breathe fire, I might've been mistaken for Godzilla, I'm just going to say. Since I've gotten hot water, though, not a whole lot has happened that's very exciting. I do have a computer station in the communal research room, now, so I have better access to the Internet. (And free printing!) So, as soon as I can find some way to get pictures from my laptop to this computer, y'all can expect pictures of Sakura, the closet I call an apartment, and much, much (maybe less) more!

In random apartment news, though, at least one of my immediate neighbors has Mario Kart, so I can hear the roulette item sounds at all sorts of times of day. Not that it really bothers me, since I used to be a pretty hXc gamer myself, back in the day. Besides, it's better than the sounds of leaky toilet mechanisms.

Random question, though. Does anyone on my FL know/want to teach me Vector Calc. and/or Linear Algebra? I forsee needing to know it in the future for my research, and Japanese people do math weird. So let me know! ...And with "Why Don't We Do It in the Road" on the soundtrack, I think I'll run off to class! TTFN~

For anyone that reads this, please note that my cell phone service may be disconnected for a while. No, there's nothing wrong; in fact, I like it better that way. :) Of course, you can all still contact me by email or instant message (as I'll try to be on a bit more now that school is over). This is in no way permanent, as I know that I'm going to want to buy a phone with TV in it once prices go down a bit, so don't worry. Consider it as a sabbatical. Also, if you know anyone that might need to call me and will probably miss this, please spread the word.

And yes, this is in fact a serious post.

Really busy, but I just thought I'd update that it never fails to surprise me that almost all of the commercials I ever like during the Superbowl are beer commercials. Why is that? What does that say about me that I am entertained at commercials geared towards the lowest levels of intelligence in the nation? Dunno, but I have to write about fifty papers in the next two days.

Love to you all. <3

Today's a rather skimpy photo update, so you can feel free to skip it if you want. For those that're curious, above is a picture of the Emperial Castle, or at least part of it that is viewable from publicly accessible grounds.

And now to a couple more (and it really is only a couple this time) pictures: Powdered faces and small talk around the vanity. )

It's been a while since I've posted some pictures, so I thought I'd give y'all a taste of Spring in Japan. Since it's like, an important season and all. Anyway, enjoy. And don't look if you don't like big pictures. I'm lazy, so my resizing is primarily done by a reluctant photobucket.

I'm still deciding whether to spring some sort of bad pun or not. )

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, gang. I haven't done much walking/seen much of anything that I really wanted to take pictures of. I do have a bit of a quandry to pose to all of you, however.

You see, things here, being Spring Break, have been pretty slow so I decided to be odd and attend a couple auditions for various things like record companies and modeling agencies. Unfortunately, I didn't pass any of the singing auditions. I did, however, pass one of my model auditions. Though, it was more of an audition to get into a sort of modeling school with a show at the end that I can debut as a model in. The show is at the end of July, though, and I don't know if I want to attend the school, as it will take up quite a bit of my free time and a decent bit of money. (As in, probably more than $1,500.) However, even if I don't pursue the modeling thing, it's sure to give me insight on how to present myself and get over nervousness that plagued me during my singing auditions. Furthermore, I was told that I could negotiate breaks and that sort of thing in order to go back to the States, graduate, and that sort of thing. I don't know. I guess that since I have trouble choosing between McDonalds and KFC, I'm all the more eager to hear other people's opinions on a little bit bigger items like this. :D;; So, get to it. Comment-away! And don't hold back on comments containing things like "You idiot, go back to school and stick with that since you'll never go anywhere in entertainment." Because if y'all don't think so, the masses probably will agree. ^^;

Anyway, since you took the time to read all of that (and hopefully comment), feel free to enjoy these pictures:

March! But don't go to far. ;) )

Anyway, thanks again for your opinions, and sorry if the pictures were big. I was lazy and didn't feel like cropping, so I let photobucket do it for me. ^^;

Talk to y'all later. :]

Subject:It's been a while since I've done one of these. :D;;;
Time:5:17 pm.
If you're on the friends list of my mother's journal and are capable of sifting through all of her memes and other information, you (probably) would've known that I'm still alive. For those of you who, much like me, see that and think it's a tidal wave of text/posts and don't know where to begin, this post is to inform you that I am, in fact, still here. (Just kidding, mother. ;)

Anyway, here's a couple pictures from recent events in life in Japan~

Oh, and they might be big pictures, just warning you. Furthermore, if you plan on re-using them or visiting them a lot, save my poor free photobucket account's bandwidth and save 'em to your computer. Thanks. <3

Japanuary... some February as well. )

Sorry I'm not so good with updating with speed. But since Spring break's started, maybe by some miracle I'll gain some speed. Somehow. :]

Time:3:33 pm.
It's not quite the 10th in Arizona yet, but I'd still like to wish my mother a "happy birthday."

I've chosen a special picture for this post, and for more pictures, y'all'll have to wait until I get a bit more free time. I might send out mailing in the next couple days, though...

Here's the picture anyways:

...because it reminds me of a certain pair of pants. :]

Other than that, I hope y'all have a wonderful day, including the birthday girl whothinksshe'ssixbutisreally... I won't say. Well, maybe if you ask I will. But I'm supposed to be nice today. ;)

(For those of you who can't deal without the picture being cut, tough. =_=)

That's all~ <3
